My Story

I've dedicated my life to collaborating with individuals in transformative journeys since 1987. Through love and joy, I've forged profound connections with people across diverse settings—from the streets and homeless shelters to treatment centers, schools, and family homes. My forte lies in swiftly establishing powerful alliances, guiding individuals to overcome limiting thoughts and behaviors hindering their holistic well-being—be it physical, mental, or spiritual.

My philosophy centers on meeting individuals where they are, fostering genuine relationships that lead to profound emotional and spiritual liberation. I advocate for consciousness, introspection, transformative dialogue, accountability, and purposeful action.

As Dr. SooJin Pate beautifully articulates, 'If hurt people hurt people and create systems that hurt people, then healing people are healing people and create systems that heal people.'

Equipped with a Master's in Counseling Psychology & Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies, I've also shared my expertise as a faculty member in the Community Mental Health program. My deep-rooted understanding of trauma's impact fuels my passion for humanity's collective liberation.

“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation, and that is an act of political warfare.”
